She serves as bond counsel for numerous municipalities and public agencies in the State of Minnesota. Mary's areas of experience include governmental bond financing for cities and school districts, tax exempt lease financing, tax increment financing, private activity bond financing, health care and rental housing financing. Mary co-authored an informational article entitled "Summary of General Rules Relating to Yield Restriction, Exemptions to Rebate and Designations as Qualified Tax Exempt Obligations." She also prepared The Guide for Local Officials for Local Improvement Proceedings. Mary is a board member and past president of the Minnesota Institute of Public Finance. She is also a member of the Ramsey County and Minnesota State Bar associations and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
