Attorneys

Linda Thompson is an associate at Kennedy & Graven, Chartered practicing in the areas of municipal law, real property law, and criminal prosecution. Her experience includes handling trials and arbitration and representation before the Court of Appeals. Linda is a native of Plainview, Minnesota. Linda received her B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in 1998, where she graduated magna cum laude. In 2002, Linda received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, Linda worked as a certified student attorney and law clerk for Catholic Charities Law Center. She also worked as a certified student attorney for Misdemeanor Defense Clinic and Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners (LAMP) Clinic. After law school, Linda practiced at Kelly & Fawcett, P.A. in St. Paul as an associate attorney, practicing primarily in the areas of municipal law, real property law, corporate law, and criminal prosecution. Linda is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar, and the Ramsey County Bar Association. In addition, Linda is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Linda enjoys attending local sporting events, including those of the Mahtomedi Zephyrs and University of Minnesota athletic departments. She is also involved with the Tri-Lakes Association and St. Croix Valley Girl Scouts. In her free time, Linda and her family enjoy boating, fishing and entertaining family and friends.
