Click here for Employment Opportunities. 7/29/08 Kennedy & Graven held its annual "Back to School Legal Update for School Administrators" at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park. 6/30/08 David J. Kennedy has retired from the practice of law. His understanding of the important role that local government has in the State of Minnesota and his deep and genuine interest in public law will continue to permeate the attitude of Kennedy & Graven. His law practice philosophy that emphasized keeping clients informed through effective communication is a standard that we will continue to emulate. 6/1/08 Kennedy & Graven's Public Law Update has traditionally been held in June and has focused on new state laws and their effect on municipalities. We have decided to not hold the Public Law Update in 2008. The League of Minnesota Cities' Annual Conference is now being held in June and, among other topics, does include updates from the 2008 legislative session. Kennedy & Graven is a sponsor of the LMC's annual conference and many of our attorneys will be attending that event. We continue to look for ways to assist persons interested in local government law including an alternative to holding the Public Law Update. 2/7/08 Michael T. Norton has been elected President of Kennedy & Graven. 2/4/08 Rhonda M. Skoby has joined Kennedy & Graven as an associate practicing in the areas of public finance, economic development and redevelopment, and financing transactions. 2/1/08 Timothy R. Palmatier, Peter G.
