Kyle Hartnett is an associate at Kennedy & Graven, Chartered, practicing in the area of general municipal and township law.  Kyle joined Kennedy & Graven in 2015.

Kyle has over ten years of municipal law experience.  He spent over 5 years as an attorney for the Minnesota Association of Townships where he counseled township officers and township attorneys on numerous legal issues including planning and zoning, road development, data practices, open meeting law and annexation.  Kyle has an additional 3 years of experience in private practice representing cities and townships  on a wide array of legal matters including condemnation, planning and zoning, employment, data practices, open meeting law, detachment, and public financing projects.  Kyle was also an attorney with the Office of the State Auditor for over 3 years and a law clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Kyle graduated in 2001 from Hamline University School of Law where he was on Law Review.

Kyle is currently a commissioner with the City of St. Michael Planning Commission and former commissioner of the City of Richfield Planning Commission.
