Dave Anderson is a shareholder at Kennedy & Graven, Chartered and practices in the area of general municipal law, real estate, and litigation.

Prior to joining Kennedy & Graven in 2016, Dave worked as a prosecuting attorney in the Sherburne County Attorney’s office where he was primarily responsible for assisting with law enforcement investigations, charging and litigating criminal cases, and handling appellate work. His prosecutorial experience allowed him to work closely with local government agencies and develop an understanding of the particular needs of local government units. Prior to that, Dave worked in the Human Services Division of the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office where he represented local government agencies. He also served as law clerk to the Honorable Christian S. Wilton in the Minnesota’s First Judicial District. Dave received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in History and Political Science. He graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Dave was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll following every semester. He was also an editor and board member of the Hamline Law Review.

Dave lives in St. Louis Park with his wife, Laura, and their dog, Ollie. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time outdoors. He also enjoys running, playing golf, and cooking.
