Kennedy & Graven, Chartered has its principal office in downtown Minneapolis and practices in state and local government law. Our firm acts as counsel to cities, counties, school districts, townships, and public authorities and agencies and provides specialized legal services in all aspects of public law, including public finance, litigation, real estate and employment law.

Position: We are seeking an associate attorney to join our public finance department. The associate will practice in the areas of general obligation municipal bonds, conduit bond issues and redevelopment and economic development transactions.


  • 0 — 5 years of experience as an attorney.
  • Experience in economic development, real estate lending, tax law and/or general municipal law helpful but not required. Real estate and planning backgrounds may also be helpful.
  • Applicant must be licensed to practice law in Minnesota.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary and benefit package for this position is commensurate with mid-sized Minnesota law firms. This is a shareholder-track position.
