Sherance Robinson

Law Clerk

PRACTICE AREA
Sherance Robinson works as a law clerk at Kennedy & Graven.

BACKGROUND
Sherance is a rising second-year law student at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and is originally from Los Angeles. Before attending law school, Sherance worked in case management and housing services, supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and other complex barriers. Her professional background strengthened her interest in public service, legal advocacy, and work that directly impacts communities.

Sherance has also lived, studied, and worked internationally, including in France, Senegal, Ghana, and England. Her international experiences, language skills, and academic background have shaped her interests in human rights, public service, and equitable access to legal systems. While earning her MSc in International Relations, Sherance wrote her thesis on Decoloniality and the Feasibility of a Self-Reliant Senegal. She especially enjoys constitutional law and hopes to become a judge one day.

She has traveled to more than 49 countries and has volunteered in several communities, including through outreach focused on homelessness, education, and women’s empowerment. Additionally, she speaks conversational Wolof and Twi. One of her personal dreams is to visit every country in Africa.
